Marianne is Hill+Knowlton Strategies Indonesia CEO.
Prior to joining H+K, Marianne was CEO of Wunderman Thompson Indonesia. She led the team on a restructuring journey from JWT to become Wunderman Thompson, focusing not only on creative, but also data, tech and influence.
Previous to that, Marianne was Ogilvy Indonesia’s Chief Growth Officer and Managing Director for Ogilvy Public Relations. She was also Head of Corporate Communications for the Ogilvy Group in Indonesia.
Marianne is a 25+ years veteran in communications, branding and marketing with extensive experience in issues and crisis management and C-Suite advisory. She also has a well-connected business network in Indonesia and SE Asia.
Marianne’s work in 2015 – 2017 for Bank of Indonesia and the high-profiled nation branding work for The Ministry of Tourism Indonesia have been recognized locally and regionally and received multiple awards. She was also the lead advisor for the Ministry of Tourism’s marketing department for 3 years, reporting directly to the Minister himself, which includes managing Bali’s Mount Agung Eruption Crisis Communications and the Crisis Centre.
In 2019 Marianne was named GOLD Digital & Social Head of Agency by Marketing-Interactive. She was also recognised as Campaign Asia’s APAC WOMAN To WATCH in 2017 and was also voted as one of the 100 powerful women in Indonesia by SWA, Indonesia’s first tier business media.
Other work that gained recognition – Two Gold Medals won at the 2016 Singapore Marketing Media awards for BUKAPALAK, an online local marketplace that connects small businesses in Indonesia for the Creative Economies Hero initiative. Two Gold medals for Best PR Consumer Campaign and PR-led 360 integrated communications campaign and a Bronze medal won at the APAC 2016 TANGRAM Awards.

Deje is an experiential communications marketer, bringing his more than 20 years of well-rounded experience from both the client’s and agency’s side of the business, covering different sets of communications channels from PR, Digital, ATL and BTL experiences.
Prior heading H+K Strategies Indonesia, Deje was the Managing Director of Verve – Wunderman Thompson, which under his leadership, won SILVER 2019 PR Agency of the year by Marketing-Interactive when the agency was only 1.5 years old.
His long list of agency life in Edelman, Burson-Marsteller, McCann Digital, Weber-Shandwick/Golin and Publicis has also provided him eligible encounters in various industries, not only in Indonesia, but also across South East Asia.
Holder of an undergraduate degree in Faculty of Political and Social Science from University of Indonesia, he also has a client-side experience such as in XL Axiata, where he was the Corporate Communications Manager for more than 7 years. Known as a communications-related trainer, his rich experience in handling crisis communications, community management, CSR programs and many communications works has brought a great learning both in strategy & tactics.
Some footprints of his hard work were work recognized as The Best Viral Video Campaign for Opera Software in 2016 and The Best CSR program for XL Axiata in 2010 and 2011.
This automotive enthusiast is also active in several organizations and communities, in influential level, which is aligned with his current passion in digital communications.
Deje is also a community manager and owns his own live streaming channel highlighting Indonesia’s social and relationship challenges.

Shirley Tangkilisan has been active in Indonesia’s Public Relations industry for more than 9 years specializing in the brand and corporate communications.
Previously, she held the position of an Associate Account Director in Ogilvy Public Relations, responsible mostly for brand PR, she began and spent most of her career in Ogilvy Indonesia, handled most of CPG brands from Unilever, Coca Cola Indonesia and several others, healthcare brands i.e. Sangobion, some NGOs i.e. International Rhino Foundation, and Hospitality-related brands such as Agoda, SilkAir and IHG Group.
Aside from other clients, she is currently the lead for H+K Indonesia’s key accounts, such as Telkomsel’s corporate communications, DigiAds the digital marketing solutions, Unilever Indonesia (ULI) with its Sustainability Living Plan, supporting Sunsilk’s unstoppable campaign, Launching of Love Beauty and Planet for the first time in Indonesia, LUX’s Stop Beauty Bullying campaign, Pond’s Every Shade Can Wow and SariWangi (tea brand).
One of her highlights these last few years happened when she was the lead account for Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism Nation Branding project, elevating Wonderful Indonesia branding to become Indonesia’s Unity in Diversity positioning for the country.
Prior to this, Shirley worked for PT Fujitsu Indonesia as Senior Marketing Communications and a local Public Relations agency, named Eugenia Communications. She handled specifically healthcare companies such as Fonterra Brand, Wyeth and Bayer-Schering Pharma.

Zaki is a 10 years PR veteran who wears may hats. He is H+K Indonesia’s Head of Public Affairs, but he is also a Business Director and a Senior Planner. His responsibilities also include key clients such as Bank of Indonesia, Huawei, HSBC Indonesia, Shell and Telkomsel while nurturing the team in managing clients.
Zaki spent 7 years within the Ogilvy Group Indonesia, reporting to Marianne, where he started in Pulse Communication and begin his experience with clients in various area such as Guinness, Volvo Construction Equipment, Suzuki Indonesia, Hong Kong Tourism Board, H&M, Indosat, Unilever and many more.
During his ventures, Zaki expanded his talent and took the challenge as Public Affairs Specialist and Senior Planner within the Ogilvy Group Indonesia, allowing him to expand his capability from PR to holistic brand communication.
One of his highlights was involved in managing the largest Ogilvy PR’s account which was Indonesia Ministry of Tourism’s with global 14 markets campaign, National Branding project for Indonesia and rebranding project of key destination area in Indonesia including Jakarta. His role as a planner resulted a win from Bank of Indonesia, Indonesia’s Department of Creative Economy, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Save The Children Foundation to one of Indonesia’s famous unicorns, Bukalapak where resulted a recognition of Asia Pacific 2 Gold Award.
Prior to this, Zaki joined MRA Printed Media group as the Marketing Communications Manager responsible for brand activation for all male magazine portfolio on the group covering from sports, music and Lifestyle such as AUTOCAR, FHM and Esquire where the key challenge was to create consistent and profitable activation programs for the Magazines.
