Shirley Tangkilisan has been active in Indonesia’s Public Relations industry for more than 9 years specializing in the brand and corporate communications.
Previously, she held the position of an Associate Account Director in Ogilvy Public Relations, responsible mostly for brand PR, she began and spent most of her career in Ogilvy Indonesia, handled most of CPG brands from Unilever, Coca Cola Indonesia and several others, healthcare brands i.e. Sangobion, some NGOs i.e. International Rhino Foundation, and Hospitality-related brands such as Agoda, SilkAir and IHG Group.
Aside from other clients, she is currently the lead for H+K Indonesia’s key accounts, such as Telkomsel’s corporate communications, DigiAds the digital marketing solutions, Unilever Indonesia (ULI) with its Sustainability Living Plan, supporting Sunsilk’s unstoppable campaign, Launching of Love Beauty and Planet for the first time in Indonesia, LUX’s Stop Beauty Bullying campaign, Pond’s Every Shade Can Wow and SariWangi (tea brand).
One of her highlights these last few years happened when she was the lead account for Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism Nation Branding project, elevating Wonderful Indonesia branding to become Indonesia’s Unity in Diversity positioning for the country.
Prior to this, Shirley worked for PT Fujitsu Indonesia as Senior Marketing Communications and a local Public Relations agency, named Eugenia Communications. She handled specifically healthcare companies such as Fonterra Brand, Wyeth and Bayer-Schering Pharma.
Embracing the spirit of #baiklebihbaik she is fully-passionate in volunteering her time to women and animal protection issues. She has always found joy in spending time in book and exploring new things.
